Great News to SHARE! Some time ago, I applied for a Permit to Import Epicactus hybrids through the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
I can now share that I have been through the complex, time consuming and costly, logistical process of freight forwarding into Australia, Customs Inspection by AQIS, fumigation with methyl bromide and growth in an approved quarantine growth site.
We are also receiving MORE imports from Germany in coming months!
These hybrids will be available (once they have flowered) through myself, Tropical Treasure Epicactus, Shelli Green of Rainbow Daylilies and Michael Guillot of Michael's Epicentre in Melbourne.
These Epicactus hybrids include the Jaliscos, the Claritys, the Crains, the Paetz collection, some of Frank Supplie's hybrids such as 'Exotic Dancer', 'Spiced Takuan', others such as 'Love Me Not', 'Yellow Tang' and many more!
(That's great news for Western Australian clients who will be able to acquire these cuttings and plants from Shelli in WA)
