'Stern von Erlau' was hybridised by Curt Knebel and registered in 1935 with the Epiphyllum Society of America (ESA)
'Stern von Erlau is one of my personal favourites! Brilliant orange-red with a violet edge. Pointed petyals. Outer petals red, narrower and longer. Red stamens with white anthers. Red Style with white stigma lobes. Cup and saucer form. Flat growth.LARGE sized flowers (18-23cm). Reg # 05623
